A reddish ale brewed with big, bold hops

A reddish ale brewed with big, bold hops From an original painting by Holly Wass

Originally hailing from Europe, the European (or Red Fox) is now commonplace in urban areas. It is also a county symbol for Leicestershire and an important and notable species within Leicestershire and Rutland.

Brewed to coincide with the Diamond Anniversary celebrations of the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust, the reddish colour of this ale mirrors the Fox’s characteristic pelt, whilst big, bold hops symbolise the confident, self-assured nature of this successful and intrepid creature.

Go to many British townscapes and you will find foxes!
