A Best Bitter with an initial sharp bitter taste leading to a caramel and lingering mouth-feel. From an original painting by Stewart Sexton

The Atlantic puffin is a true seabird, spending most of its time at sea. Despite being nicknamed “the clown of the sea” the Puffin is a bold and determined auk, often running the gauntlet from gulls as it returns to its breeding burrow with sand eels in its beak. The record number of sand eels returned in one go is thought to be an impressive 62.

This easy to drink beer has a smooth flavour coupled with a firm bitter aftertaste - characterising the Puffin’s pluckiness. We believe that this beer will become as popular as the brave bird that inspired it!
